coming in at a 3-way tie at 38% are:
- PROVIDING MORE CROSS-SELLING INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS TO INCREASE BASKET SIZE
- CREATING SPECIALIZED USER EXPERIENCES FOR OUR TARGET CUSTOMER SEGMENTS
- INVESTING IN CROSS-CHANNEL PROCESSES
It’s telling that the report begins with a telling development in online retail:
“…Retailing is at an inflection point, and the tables have turned. While early eCommerce sites were designed to replicate the store experience, today’s retailers are struggling to bring elements of the rich online experience into their stores.
